Christie Kramer

Christie Kramer

Administrative Assistant

Bio

Christie began her career in banking after graduating from Yakima Valley Community College. She left family and friends to move to Oregon in 1985, continuing in banking until several mergers changed that scene. She moved to NW Farmers Insurance Credit Union in 1988, shortly before marrying Gary. After nine years and the birth of their second daughter, Stephanie, she took 2 ½ years off. Christie returned to the credit union part time and worked another 3½ years. The joys and demands of motherhood caused her to take leave once more so she could focus on her girls. Assisting teachers in the classroom, planning parties and teaching Art Literature while the girls were in elementary and middle school was just too important to her. She returned to the work force in 2005 part time while the girls were in school bookkeeping for the Columbia River Girl Scouts.

This led to other bookkeeping jobs where Christie enjoyed helping businesses with their financial needs. Now that Sarah is a junior at George Fox University and Stephanie is starting this year at PCC, this frees her up to work at NWDD and seek other businesses she can help.

In her spare time, she enjoys being a wife to Gary, to whom she has been married to for 27 years, and helping the girls, of course, navigate life. She also assists with Women’s Ministries at Beaverton Christian Church, and enjoys doing cross-stitch and crossword puzzles.
